Responsibilities:

 

A major focus for Eagle’s Centers of Excellence is repeatability.  The foundation for repeatability lies within standardizing Eagle’s implementation approach and project management.  In order to gain efficiencies, optimize resource utilization, and build the foundation for ‘healthier’ projects, the Project Management Office (PMO) will facilitate project success by integrating project knowledge, project processes and procedures, and creating reusable standard templates. The PMO will collaborate with all GPS practices to oversee the project life cycle, from project approval through project closure. Effective project oversight and control is critical to project efficiency and success. Standard project management tools, processes, shared knowledge, and mentoring will build and expand project management expertise throughout GPS staff.

 

The PMO will incorporate best practice procedures and standard project management artifacts (e.g. Project Charter, Risk Management, Roles & Responsibilities, Project Decision Matrix,etc.).  In order to provide better visibility into project ‘health’, this role will closely collaborate with Eagle’s Global Operations and Finance team to track project financial health and to develop financial key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Post launch recap
  • Manage reusable inventory
  • Project artifact audits
  • Ensure all initiatives have appropriate artifact
  • Review artifacts for timeliness and quality
  • Artifact development
  • Enhance and develop templates and roadmaps to improve implementation process

 

Requirements:

  • Successful track record of managing large scale projects.
  • Proven examples of process improvements as part of managing a project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Candidate should have at least 10 years industry experience and at least 5 years managing large implementations.
  • Prefer candidate to have a degree in business, but not a requirement for the right candidate.
