Boston, London, Melbourne, Paris and Singapore – April 3, 2007 — Charles River Development (Charles River), an award-winning provider of financial software and services to the global investment management community, today announced that Eagle Investment Systems LLC (Eagle) has become a member of its Partner Integration Certification Program. The certification is based largely upon the development of standardized interfaces between the Charles River Investment Management System (Charles River IMS) and Eagle PACE™ and Eagle STAR®. The interface provides a seamless bi-directional flow of reference and accounting data and enables the buy-side to simplify and reduce the total cost of post-trade operations for equity, fixed income and exchange-traded swaps. Through the collaborative certification program, the two organizations will continue to maintain and enhance the interfaces with such features as real-time, message-based updates.
Charles River’s Partner Integration Certification Program enables partners to test and certify their interfaces, along with Charles River, to determine and verify appropriate configurations, workflows and settings within the two systems during installation at a client site. The level of verification reduces implementation and overall operations costs for both systems.
“We are pleased to announce this extension of our relationship with Eagle,” said Stephen Engdahl, Director, Product Management, Charles River Development. “Eagle is now a fully-fledged member of our certification program, which facilitates the integration of our products to common clients.”
“The collaboration to integrate our offerings with those of Charles River is yet another example of Eagle’s strategy to align itself with compatible, high quality providers enabling our clients to access world class, cost-effective and vertically integrated solutions,” said John Lehner, Eagle’s President. “As the marketplace and business requirements evolve, we will continue to refine the interfaces and strengthen our commitment to Charles River.”
